What people are saying…

“We formed partnerships with school districts and volunteer networks across the U.S. and across the globe. By working across time zones and with hundreds of partners, we sought to break the Guinness World Record for the most children ever read to in a 24-hour period. We almost did it!”

— Neil Bush, Points of Light & Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation Chairman

“We can find meaning and reward by serving some higher purpose than ourselves, a shining purpose, the illumination of a thousand points of light…we all have something to give.”

— President George H.W. Bush
